By registering as a seller on Beyido Marketplace, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, do not create a seller account.
2. Seller Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old
You must provide accurate and truthful information
You must complete all verification requirements
You must own the items you are selling
You must have legal right to sell the items
3. Verification Requirements
Valid Uganda National ID
NIN (National Identification Number)
Live face verification
Phone number verification via SMS
Device registration
Location confirmation
4. Listing Rules
Listings must be accurate and truthful
Specifications must match the actual product
Photos must be original (not from internet)
Wrong specifications may result in account ban
Prohibited items will be removed
5. Prohibited Items
Illegal substances
Stolen goods
Counterfeit products
Weapons and firearms
Human trafficking
Endangered species
Any item illegal under Ugandan law
6. Subscription & Pricing
Entry prices are promotional for first 6 months
Prices gradually increase from Month 7 to Month 12
Full price applies from Month 13 onwards
Prices are subject to change with notice
No refunds on used subscription periods
7. Downgrade Policy
Downgrading resets followers, reviews, and trust score to ZERO
14-day grace period to cancel downgrade
After grace period, reset is permanent
Hidden listings archived for up to 1 year
8. Account Termination
Beyido reserves the right to terminate accounts for:
Fraudulent activity
Multiple accounts
Fake specifications
Stolen identity
Harassment of users
Violation of these terms
No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts.
9. Data Retention
Even after account deletion, certain data is retained for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and safety:
Face data (prevents multiple accounts)
NIN (fraud prevention)
Device fingerprints
Transaction records (7 years)
IP addresses
10. Limitation of Liability
Beyido is a marketplace platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not party to transactions between users. We are not responsible for item quality, delivery, or disputes between users.
11. Dispute Resolution
Disputes first attempted through platform mediation
Escrow protection for delivery purchases
Beyido decision is final in most cases
Legal action under Ugandan law
12. Changes to Terms
Beyido may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
